A leading global provider of Financial Services software is looking for a Production Support Manager, with overall responsibility for the day-to-day provision of Production Support to their clients within EMEA and Far-East Asia.

�As Production Support Manager you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the members of the Production Support Team (around 5 people) as well looking after specific production support issues such as:

• Issue logging, resolution, management and reporting of all outstanding issues
• Release management, including deployment testing and collation of supporting documentation, software delivery and support for client's testing processes
• Provide application, business and technical support to customers
• Develop the Production Support infrastructure, processes and procedures to improve quality of service
• Management of up-to-date client production environment copies� for use during issue resolution and progression of project activities
• Production of monthly incident reports for distribution to all customers

To be considered for the role of Production Support Manager - Sell-side, Software Vendor, UNIX, SQL, FIX experience in the following is necessary;

• Experience of supporting customers within the financial sector, ideally Sell-Side
• A broad background in enterprise software implementation and support within a vendor or sell-side environment
• Evidence of developing strong technically orientated support teams or production support teams
• Experience of managing effective communication between development teams and customer services teams
• Good working knowledge of UNIX, SQL, FIX and other trading technologies
• Ability to understand client requirements and how buy-side applications can support these
• Excellent technical problem solving skills
• Strong database experience desirable
• An excellent communicator with� a real "can do" attitude
