Clinical SAS Programmer CRO
A fantastic role has arisen for a Senior SAS programmer to join an international Clinical Research Organisation. This role is ideal for an experienced SAS programmer with the drive and ambition to advance their career.
As the Senior SAS Programmer, you will be responsible for the activities of the clinical SAS programming team; providing technical support on clinical studies and relating database and programming issues to both internal and external study teams.
Your technical duties will also include: Carrying out database design, designing CRF's and validating electronic data checks. You will also be expected to assist the senior data manager with ad hoc programming tasks and help to maintain clinical coding dictionaries. In addition, you may also be required to mentor junior members of the clinical data programming team.
The successful candidate should have a BSc in life science or science related discipline. Ideally you will have 4 years data management/SAS programming experience within a CRO environment. To succeed in this role it is essential that you have solid experience using Clintrial and SAS programming. Previous exposure to SQL and PL/SQL would be a huge advantage.
