A fantastic opportunity is now available for a Senior Bioinformatics/Senior Scientist within an award winning Biotechnology Company in London. My client is on the lookout for a senior computational biologist to lead and manage their team of molecular biologists, statistical data analysts and bioinformaticians on new cutting edge research projects.

This role is ideal for an industry experienced R&D scientist who is confident in their bioinformatics/data analysis capabilities, yet understands the techniques used in experimental biology.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role it is essential that you are educated to a PhD level in Bioinformatics/Computational Biology with a strong grounding in statistical research and a clear understanding of molecular biology laboratory techniques. Previous exposure to gene expression/microarray data analysis and large scale re-sequencing data would be highly advantageous.
